100th Employee Milestone in 75th Year for Thomson Cooper
As they welcome the 2024 trainee intake, the Thomson Cooper team will cross the 100-employee milestone. It is another significant achievement for the firm as they celebrate 75 years in business, a testament to the thriving community they have built.
Their journey began in 1949 when founder T. Hunter Thomson and his business partner Harold Cooper acquired a small practice in Dunfermline. With perseverance and a commitment to excellence, they have expanded steadily over the years, navigating challenges and celebrating successes along the way. The firm now has an office in Edinburgh, and they continue to operate as an independently owned firm, which is increasingly rare in the industry.
The business has grown by having a clear purpose, which is to listen, advise and support clients to achieve their goals.
Advancing technology has transformed their processes and how services are delivered. Their range of services has also expanded, made possible by embracing digitisation.
Senior Partner Andrew Croxford added, “As we celebrate this milestone, it represents the strength of our community, the trust of our clients, and the promise of a bright future. We are grateful to every member of our team, past and present, for their dedication. This achievement is a testament to what we can accomplish together. We look forward to the next chapter, filled with new opportunities, challenges, and triumphs.”
