CMS Kernel webinar: Navigating HFSS and Ultra Processed Foods Regulation – Challenges and Opportunities
CMS Scotland is hosting a webinar focusing on ultra-processed foods and those which are high in fat, salt and sugar (HFSS) at 09.30 on 11 September. The event is part of CMS’s Kernel series of seminars open to Scotland’s Food & Drink sector.
The session will explore highly debated new laws set to be introduced next year which are aimed at curbing the impact of less healthy food and drink products in the UK. The regulations are targeted at the promotion of HFSS foods with restrictions around the advertising and pricing of such products.
Hosted by CMS food and drink sector specialist lawyers Joanna Waddell and Esme Saynor, the free-to-attend online seminar will also cover the lack of law governing ultra-processed foods and consider the impact this is having on the industry.
The event takes place online at 9.30 on 11 September. Further information and registration details can be found here
