Posted: 29th November 2024

Scottish law firm Wright, Johnston & Mackenzie LLP (WJM) is proud to host Women in Litigation’s Christmas Gin Tasting event.

The festive evening is designed to help foster professional connections among women in the legal industry.

Women in Litigation was born out of a desire for a networking space for women in litigation. The ethos behind the organisation is to create inclusive networking and educational events designed to build connections and address the unique challenges that women in litigation face, and is open to solicitors, counsel, trainees, paralegals, support staff, mediators and experts.

Attendees will enjoy an exploration of specially selected gins, as well as the chance to connect with peers and share experiences in a supportive and open setting.

The event will take place on Thursday, 5 December 2024, and will be hosted by Emma Letham, Associate with the Family Law team, and Iona Whyte, Senior Solicitor in WJM’s Family Law Team.

Commenting on the importance of events like these, Emma said: “Women-only networking events create a vital space for connection, collaboration, and empowerment in what can often be a demanding profession.

“They allow us to share knowledge, celebrate successes, and inspire one another to achieve even greater things.
