Posted: 2nd December 2024

Those looking to gift an experience for their loved ones this Christmas, or those just looking to be ahead of the game, can now purchase early bird tickets for Scotland’s largest outdoor event, the Royal Highland Show 2025.

Taking place across four-days in June next year, from 19th to 22nd, at Ingliston, Edinburgh, the Show celebrates not only the best in Scotland’s, farming, livestock, equine and machinery but is also one of the best family days out. With something for everyone, including all things lifestyle and outdoor living, to meeting hundreds of animals and endless options for food and drink, the Royal Highland Show is a showcase of the best of Scotland’s produce.

Children aged 15 and under can attend for free across the four-day event if they are accompanied by a paying adult but they must have a ticket. Over 20,000 children attended the 2024 Show.

Organisers of the Royal Highland Show, RHASS (the Royal Highland & Agricultural Society of Scotland (RHASS) saw both the Friday and Saturday of the 2024 Show sell out, with general tickets sales up 2.5% from the previous year. Make sure you don’t miss out on 2025 tickets and buy now.

Each year, the Show sees over 200,000 visitors, exhibitors and competitors attend, transforming the Royal Highland Centre into the sixth largest population in Scotland, bigger than Paisley and Dunfermline, and contributes almost forty million pounds to Edinburgh’s economy*.

David Tennant, Head of Royal Highland Show, said: “As well as being able to enjoy traditional livestock parades, events and equine showjumping, the Show brings together the very best in Scotland’s leading artisan suppliers in food, drink, arts, crafts and more.

“Children aged 15 and under can also enjoy the Show for free, making it the perfect family day out to experience returning Show elements such as BMX stunt riders, live chain saw carving and axe throwing. It’s a great Christmas alternative for family members who enjoy experiences over gifts.

“We look forward to seeing you at the Show next June!”

Adult tickets can be purchased from £37.00 each. Car parking tickets are encouraged to be purchased at the same time to avoid disappointment closer to the event.

A Farming-Flexi ticket is available for those in the industry for £41.00, allowing event goers the option of attending on the Thursday or the Friday, depending on their schedules closer to the time. In a nod to supporting the farming community, those who purchase these tickets will qualify for a 20% discount on any additional purchases of Farming-Flexi or Thursday Adult tickets.

Early bird tickets can be purchased until the end of January on the Royal Highland Show website: www.royalhighlandshow.org.

Those purchasing a Flexi-Farming ticket will receive a discount code for additional tickets via a confirmation email. The code will remain valid until January 1st.
