Today, the Edinburgh International Conference Centre launches the EICC Impact Network, an initiative designed to extend the impact of conferences beyond the venue and into the wider community.  Aligned with the five pillars of the UN SDGs – People, Planet, Prosperity, Partnership and Peace – this network provides the connections, resources, and support to turn ideas into action.

Conferences bring people together to share knowledge, spark ideas, and drive progress. The EICC Impact Network ensures these conversations lead to tangible change. Whether inspiring young people, partnering with charities, or championing sustainability, the network helps organisers create meaningful, lasting impact.

By connecting event organisers with schools, universities, charities, and businesses, the Impact Network amplifies the positive impact of conferences. From youth engagement and educational initiatives to research partnerships and economic growth, it fosters collaboration that drives innovation, supports communities, and expands access to opportunities. With a strong focus on sustainability and inclusivity, it ensures that every event contributes to a brighter future for people, the planet, and society as a whole.
