Matthew brings a wealth of experience to Apex Hotels, having held Director of Information Technology positions at Gleneagles Hotel, Gleneagles Townhouse, Estelle Manor and Maison Estelle.

Matthew heads up a talented team in the technology department, ensuring IT systems are secure, efficient, and aligned with strategic goals as well as spearheading the integration of innovative technologies that enhance the guest experience and streamline operations.

Stephen said: “I feel very excited about the prospect of running and growing HLS, seeking new business opportunities to grow revenue and adding sustainable value to the business and our customers.”

These appointments come during a period of continued growth for Apex Hotels, as the company embarks on an ambitious acquisition strategy to expand and diversify its portfolio. Recent acquisitions include DoubleTree by Hilton Dunblane Hydro, Meldrum House Country Hotel & Golf Course in Aberdeenshire, Pine Trees Hotel in Pitlochry and The Vineyard in Berkshire.

Angela Vickers said:

“We are delighted to welcome Matthew and Stephen to Apex Hotels – they both bring a wealth of expertise, professionalism and invaluable experience to the table and we very much look forward to working with them both.
