The graduate bid writer programme offers a unique chance for motivated individuals to join a dynamic team dedicated to delivering high-quality bid submissions.

- Salary: £28,000, with the opportunity to rise to £40,000 upon completion of the programme.

What is it like to work as a Bid Writer at EiB?
With over 30 years’ as a work winning consultancy, EiB has developed a team of over 45 bid consultants and have secured over £60Bn for its clients across the rail, highways, built environment, defence and renewables sectors.
As a Bid Writer, responsibilities include working with clients across various sectors to write compelling tender submissions to win and/or retain contracts. Bid teams are a cog in the wheel for UK projects and we take pride in how we have shaped new and evolving infrastructure, working across the rail, highways, built environment, nuclear and energy sectors.
As bidding is often an unknown career path, EiB provides a thorough induction for individuals to fully understand the bidding process. This is supported by a wide team of experts, who provide practical knowledge of end-to-end bids. Throughout the programme, the opportunity to work with our clients on bids include supportive teams with experienced bid writers and managers. In the second year of the programme, the opportunities extend to more complex bids, alongside professional qualifications such as APMP Foundation to cement knowledge.

EiB are looking for individuals with excellent writing and communication skills, who can engage with our clients to gather the relevant information to write into compelling responses. Strong organisational and time management skills are essential, as meeting client deadlines is key to submit the bids on time.
