    A delegation including Mr Euripides L Evriviades – High Commissioner for the Republic of Cyprus and Mr Yiorgos Lakkotrypis – Minister of Energy, Commerce, Industry and Tourism – gave a comprehensive and thought provoking presentation to over [50] chamber members. The sun streamed in to the suite at the Balmoral and this was most fitting as one of the themes for investment opportunities in Cyprus is Tourism including harbour developments and a Hard Rock casino, hotel and entertainment complex in Limassol.

    An Aberdeen nightspot will play host to a night of skill and athleticism this week as a group of local performers put on a show for Scottish social care charity, Cornerstone. The Aerials Underground event at the Underground club on Bridge Street will feature performances by Studio 202 and PoleOrama who will be showcasing aerial acrobatics in pole, aerial hoop, silks and hammock. Special guest band, Gypsy Roots, will also be performing at the unique event on Friday, November 4.

The old building, based on Portobello High Street, will throw open its doors to the public on the evening of 10th of November when it hosts a special film premier event promoting the work of an award-winning Edinburgh filmmaker. The evening aims to raise funds to bring a teenager living in a care home in Malawi to Scotland to learn film production skills.
