Clarus Networks Crowned Telecoms Company of the Year at Prestigious Megabuyte Awards
Award Recognises Leadership in Hybrid Connectivity Solutions for Mission-Critical Applications
Edinburgh, UK – 21 March 2025
The Clarus Networks Group has been named the Best-Performing Telecoms Company at the 2025 Megabuyte Emerging Stars Awards, cementing its position as one of the UK’s top-performing scale-up technology companies.
This recognition follows a rigorous assessment process conducted by Megabuyte, one of the UK’s most respected technology research and benchmarking organisations. The Emerging Stars Awards form part of the broader Megabuyte100 award series, which evaluates financial and operational performance across the UK tech sector.
What sets the Megabuyte100 apart is its data-driven, sector-specific, and highly selective approach — making it one of the most credible and sought-after recognitions in the UK tech industry.
With over 6,000 scale-up tech companies eligible for consideration and just 50 selected for this year’s Emerging Stars cohort, competition was exceptionally strong. The Clarus Networks Group was not only named among this elite group but was also recognised as the leading business in the Telecoms Services category—one of the most competitive peer groups in the 2025 programme.
The Clarus Networks Group specialises in the design, deployment, and management of high-performance connectivity solutions for mission-critical applications. Its portfolio includes high-bandwidth, low-latency networks that combine public and private 4G/5G cellular with cutting-edge low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite technology, such as Starlink. These hybrid solutions are deployed across highly demanding environments, including offshore energy platforms, railway infrastructure, construction sites, and emergency services fleets.
Megabuyte analysts highlighted the company’s unique ability to integrate multiple technologies to meet bespoke customer requirements:
“Cellular/fixed line and satellite services have traditionally operated separately, but the emergence of low Earth orbit satellite connectivity has enabled new use cases. Providers such as The Clarus Networks Group are now successfully combining cellular and satellite services to meet the needs of mission-critical environments. Rapid headcount growth suggests this is a successful and scalable strategy.”
Debra Phillips, Commercial Director of The Clarus Networks Group, said:
“We’re honoured to be recognised by Megabuyte as the best-performing telecoms company in the UK’s tech scale-up ecosystem. This award is a reflection of our team’s relentless commitment to delivering innovative, dependable connectivity in the most challenging environments.”
The awards ceremony took place at the Carlton Tower Jumeirah in London on 20 March 2025 and was attended by leaders from across the UK’s tech sector. The event was supported by programme sponsors NatWest and LDC, along with August Equity and Cavendish.
The Clarus Networks Group continues to experience rapid growth, both in the UK and internationally, as demand increases for flexible, mobile, and high-performance connectivity in sectors where conventional communications infrastructure cannot deliver.
