Gillespie Macandrew appoints new rural specialist to its partnership
Scottish law firm Gillespie Macandrew has appointed rural law specialist, Lizzie McFadzean to its partnership.
Lizzie joins the firm’s market-leading land and rural business team from Anderson Beaton Lamond. She brings almost 20 years’ experience advising in the sector with particular expertise in the sale and purchase of large farming and forestry estates. Lizzie will be based in the firm’s Perth office and is the sixth partner appointment at Gillespie Macandrew in the last 12 months, bolstering the total number in the partnership to twenty-nine.
Gillespie Macandrew’s Land and Rural Business team is a leading advisor to estate owners, farmers and rural businesses on property transactions, land commercialisation, land management, succession, tax, forestry, renewable energy and natural capital. The team is consistently ranked in the top tier by the legal directories and includes accredited specialists in agricultural law. Lizzie’s appointment expands the team to 6 partners and 25 members overall.
