Powering Futures Wins Prestigious Award for Diversity in Net-Zero Leadership

Powering Futures, a pioneering organisation in the education sector, has been awarded the Diversity in Net-Zero Leadership Award, sponsored by Crown Estates Scotland, at the Herald and GenAnalytics Diversity Awards 2024, held in Glasgow. This prestigious accolade recognises their exceptional work in promoting diversity and inclusion, particularly for their efforts to inspire and empower young people to pursue careers in the low-carbon economy.

The award ceremony, which took place on Friday, 13th September, highlighted Powering Futures’ outstanding contributions toward making the renewable energy sector more accessible and inclusive for individuals from all walks of life. Their commitment to fostering diversity in leadership positions and cultivating a workforce prepared to tackle the climate crisis through low-carbon innovations has set them apart as leaders in the energy transition.

The Diversity in Net-Zero Leadership Award honours organisations making a tangible impact on diversifying Scotland’s green economy.
