Promotions announced across two WJM offices as trainee scheme goes from strength to strength
Leading Scottish law firm Wright, Johnston & Mackenzie LLP (WJM) has announced a string of promotions across the business as its talented trainees progress through the firm.
The WJM team is enjoying a hive of activity in its trainee pool, reflecting the firm’s commitment to nurturing talent and expending its legal expertise across the country.
In the Glasgow office, promotions include Carol Baxter, Angus Rutherford and Thomas Fairbairn all becoming solicitors in Private Client, Commercial Property and Corporate sectors, respectively.
In terms of new trainees, Olivia Finnie and Patricia Gillen join as Commercial Property trainees in Glasgow, Cameron Watson will be a part of the same office in the Private Client team, while Deborah Nicol is also a new trainee in Private Client, but with the Edinburgh team.
WJM’s second-year trainees are also moving to new areas of the business to continue learning and developing their practice, with Robyn Black switching over to the Corporate team in Glasgow, Irum Ashad to CRG in Glasgow, Mairi Adams to CRG/Private Client in Edinburgh and Pip de Klerk to Corporate in Edinburgh.
