Richard Heald: Unlocking the India Enigma
Richard Heald, CEO of the UK India Business Council, will be speaking at an Asia Scotland Institute event in Edinburgh on 6 July. This will be held jointly with the Scottish Young Lawyers’ Association.
With speculation that India is growing faster than China, Richard will explore and uncover the challenges facing Scots aiming to successfully take advantage of the opportunities for growth and collaboration between India and the UK.
The full title of Richard’s presentation is, “Unlocking the Indian Enigma: the Challenges and Opportunities of Doing Business in a Federated Country”.
Tickets prices are £10 for ASI and SYLA members/partners and £25 for non-members. The talk will be held at CMS Cameron McKenna LLP, Castle Terrace.
Richard formerly worked at Rothschild for 17 years where his position led him to become Vice Chairman of Rothschild, India, playing a pivotal role advising numerous UK and Indian companies on spin-offs and capital raisings.
Collectively, Richard has over 30 years experience in financial markets, 20 of which have been focused on advisory and capital raisings for governments and major corporate across the globe.
